Model 4705
Progression
DAC |
Digital filters can cause smearing in the time domain (keynote and overtones are shifted in time). A good filterless DAC preserves the harmonic structure, resulting in a 'more analog', natural and musical reproduction. (Needs a Model 4799 Power Dumpty.) |

Model 4715
Shigaraki
DAC |
The current problem with CD is not the limitation of the format. The Shigaraki dac is one of the rare dac's to prove that. It uses the same circuit topology as Progression dac. Digital filters can cause smearing in the time domain (keynote and overtones are shifted in time). A good filterless DAC preserves the harmonic structure, resulting in a 'more analog', natural and musical reproduction. (Including power supply.)

Model 4732
Shigaraki USB
DAC |
The first and only USB dac we've heard able to reproduce music with a natural, coherent sound. The USB-circuit is kept as simply and short as possible, preserving all musical information. The DAC topology is drawn from model 4715 Shigaraki dac: filterless and non-oversampling to preserve the rich harmonic structures of music. (Including power supply.)
